Hey Trainers!

Pokemon Professor Bellissimo here and it`s Thursday which is past time for a new update! My research is doing very well so far. I have steadily been able to capture and trade for new Pokemon since the start of my research, which alone, has increased my knowledge of Pokemon a hundred fold. I am confident that this rate of learning will last for a while at least as I am still exploring Unova. More specifically, I have yet to venture past Pinwheel Forest. 
     However, this form of data collection will eventual come to halt as I fill the Unove Pokedex. That is where most of you will be of the utmost importance. Already I have had a number of trainers offer Pokemon donations to my cause and I was able to set up a meeting with Guitarfan101 who generously donated Anorith, Ralts, Victini, and Zorua. Thanks Guitarfan101!
     As for my own trades I was able to obtain Chimchar and Oddish while through exploration I managed to capture Pansear and Panpour. These Pokemon are a great addition to my collection as well as a great help to my research. I was even lucky enough to witness two evolution's while trying to capture the above mentioned Pokemon. These evolution`s took the form of Timburr evolving into Gurdurr and Venipede evolving into Whirlipede. It is such an exciting time when Pokemon evolve because often times it is by surprise and you are never quite sure what you are about to find.
     Finally, and what you probably have been waiting for, the free Pokemon giveaway and this weeks competition. So for those of you who have been following my blog and waiting for the giveaway announcement here it is and here is what you must do:

Pokemon Professor Bellissimo here with some more news. My experiments from June 6th were a success, I was able to find plenty of Audino's for my Pokemon to battle and they were able to gain some valuable experience. Most importantly though I was lucky enough to witness Pidove evolve into Tranquill a fascinating evolution that made me wonder what other Pokemon would evolve through battles. 
     I have also been busy attempting to fill my Pokedex through excursions into Pinwheel Forest. So far I have been able to find Timburr, Tympole, Throh, Sewaddle, Venipede, Cottonne, Petilil, and the elusive Sawk. As you can see its been quite an eventful few days with many Pokemon being added to my Pokedex and a few evolution's occurring as well.
     My final announcement for the day is that in the next few days I will be beginning the first of the competitions for my blog as well as giving away the promised 10 Pokemon I had talked about previously. So make sure to stayed tuned for those updates and remember to Fill Those Pokedex!

Hey Trainers!

Pokemon Professor Bellissimo here with more news! It is day six of my research project and let me tell you how great it is working with Pokemon everyday. They are such amazing and interesting creatures and I am constantly learning new things about them. Tonight's experiment will be to determine what happens when I level my Pokemon through battles. To do this I will take a number of lower level Pokemon to the Dreamyard in the hopes of battle Audino. Perhaps I will be able to evolve some of those Pokemon which will add to the completion of my Pokedex.

       Unfortunately, in the last few days I have not been able to obtain any new Pokemon for my research but I have made a few very important contacts. Lately, I have been working closely with Snowman4686 to develop a way to both increase my Pokedex and that of my readers. For those of you who do not already know Snowman4686, he runs a top notch adoption center (Snowman4686 Adoption Center) for which I am very impressed with (you can find a link to his adoption center under Pokemon Sites). Basically, we have been devising a system of Pokemon Egg donations to my site in order for me to offer these as gifts to those who follow my research. I will keep you updated with these developments as they occur.

       I would now like to take a minute to thank my readers for showing interest in my research and to talk a little about the growth of this blog. Firstly, thanks to everyone for your continued support my blog has past the 100 viewer mark, which is exciting, and it beginning to increase smoothly in the number of readers! You may have also noticed that their is a new page under construction. I have decided to add a forum page to my blog, titled Professor Bellissimo's Research Discussions, in the hopes of both increasing readership as well as providing a place for my readers to chat and communicate with each other. So... check back soon for that new feature. Finally, like the deal with Snowman4686, I have been contacting other breeders and adoption centers to increase the number of Pokemon I will be able to share with my readers and if all goes well, be prepared for some awesome prizes for the weekly competitions!

Pokemon Professor Bellissimo here with an important update! My Pokemon research blog has been up and running for a couple of days now and it is slowly starting to gain attention from trainers and their Pokemon alike. To celebrate the increased awareness of my research I will be giving away 10 free Pokemon next week, so stay tuned to hear how you can win those Pokemon. 
       In other news, while researching a Woobat Pokemon last night I was amazed and privileged to be present when it evolved into a Swoobat. It was at that moment that I realized that bonding with our Pokemon could result in an evolution for that Pokemon, how fascinating. 
       I am also excited to say that I am continuing to uncover new Pokemon for my Pokedex everyday! I have updated the Pokedex in the Professor Bellissimo's Pokedex page to reflect these discoveries. I would like to welcome Nidoran (female) to my collection as well as Luvdisc. Special thanks to Zyx from the United States for donating Luvdisc to my research and to Nintendo for their Dream World Contribution!
       One final note, next week I will be introducing a new feature of the blog called 'Catch That Pokemon'. Basically, I will be challenging all you trainers to catch a specific Pokemon from week to week and donate it to my research. The winner of the competition will receive a free Pokemon holding a surprise gift as well as recognition on my blog for winning the competition.
